Adam Kraut
Executive Director
Adam Kraut is the Second Amendment Foundation’s Executive Director. He brings over a decade of experience in the Second Amendment realm as a litigator and educator. Throughout his career, Kraut has represented individuals, companies, and institutional plaintiffs in state and federal litigation and regulatory matters. In addition to his legal background, Kraut draws management experience from his time in the non-profit world, where he was responsible for overseeing the programmatic functions of a liberty-based non-profit, which concentrated on Second Amendment issues. He also managed a federal firearms licensee. Kraut comes with a variety of media experience, having written for publications such as Recoil magazine, Recoil Web, and other online publications, writing and hosting a YouTube series, hosting and appearing as guest on multiple podcasts, and appearing on television.
Lauren Hill
Senior Vice President / VP of Development
Lauren Hill is the Senior Vice President/Vice President of Development at the Second Amendment Foundation where she leads national fundraising efforts, cultivates strategic partnerships, and drives revenue growth in support of the organization’s mission. With over 25 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, Lauren has held leadership roles with organizations such as Safari Club International, Firearms Policy Coalition, the Better Business Bureau, and the International Sports Council. She has also worked with professional sports entities including the Super Bowl, Major League Baseball, and the National Football League. Lauren’s expertise spans corporate sponsorships, donor development, event execution, and leading high-performing teams across sales, marketing, and communications. Media contributions include podcasts and television, including Fox News’ The Ingraham Angle. A passionate advocate for outdoor sports and conservation, Lauren founded ReelCamo Girl in 2015 — a national women’s outdoor community dedicated to promoting hunting, fishing, and shooting among women and girls. She resides in Southern California and holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from John Carroll University, where she played varsity basketball, and an MBA with a focus in Marketing from the University of Phoenix.
Julianne Hoy Versnel
Vice President of International Outreach and Special Assistant to the Executive Vice President of SAF
Julianne Hoy Versnel is the Vice President of International Outreach and Special Assistant to the Executive Vice President of SAF. She joined the SAF staff on July 4, 1976, helping set up its initial operations. In addition to being publisher of Women & Guns magazine, contributing editor to TheGunMag.com, editor of CCRKBA’s Point Blank, Julianne served as director of operations for the Second Amendment Foundation from October 2009 through January 2023. Since 2007, she has represented SAF on the Executive Committee of the World Forum on Shooting Activities. She is the first woman elected to a leadership position in that organization, Chairwoman of the Image Committee. She is active in the international arena speaking at the United Nations, ATT and other NGO meetings reminding disparate governmental representatives that there is a civil and natural right to self-defense. She is a founding officer of the International Association for the Protection of Civilian Arms Rights (IAPCAR). She serves as publisher of The Journal on Firearms and Public Policy. She is the editor and author of Shooting Sports Survey, and Collision Course and Shooting Sports Survey II to be published in 2024 and 2025, respectively.
Matt Coffey
Vice President of Communications
Matt Coffey is the Vice President of Communications at Second Amendment Foundation. He is responsible for continuously monitoring the challenges faced by SAF and developing communications strategies to address emerging issues facing the Second Amendment, while increasing awareness about SAF and the organization’s mission. He brings more than 20 years of experience in the communications landscape, primarily in the nonprofit outdoor industry space. He has worked at Ducks Unlimited, the National Wild Turkey Federation, Sporting Classics Magazine and has also held positions as a reporter in print and broadcast media. Matt’s expertise lies in media relations and brand awareness through strategically targeted media campaigns. As a lifelong outdoorsman and Second Amendment advocate, his passion lies in raising awareness of the issues facing firearms owners across the country. Matt resides in west Tennessee and holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
Bill Sack
Director of legal operations
Bill Sack is the Director of Legal Operations at Second Amendment Foundation, and is a practicing attorney and graduate of The George Washington University and Widener Law School. He brings five years of direct experience in the Second Amendment advocacy space, including as Director of Legal Operations for a liberty-based advocacy non-profit as well as a decade of experience in management, marketing and PR. As Director of Legal Operations, Bill is responsible for oversight of SAF’s legal program to include litigation inception and management, tracking active cases, educating the public and cultivating SAF’s attorney referral network.
Dana Wilson
Director of Development
Dana Wilson, Major Gifts Officer at the Second Amendment Foundation, embodies a unique blend of professional acumen and personal dedication to our constitutional rights. Residing in Phoenix, Arizona, Dana is a devoted wife and mother of three, a passionate shooter, and an avid golfer. She has a rich background as a Financial Advisor, consultant, business owner, and development professional. Over the last two decades, she has honed her skills, specializing in strategic communications, donor engagement, and fundraising within various nonprofit sectors with a focus on sport and athletes. Dana holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin and is a triple-certified nonprofit executive, holding CNC, CDE, and CNE designations. She has proven expertise in forming vital alliances and spearheading resource mobilization that will significantly fortify our commitment to upholding and advancing the mission of the Second Amendment Foundation. Dana’s dedication ensures that our foundational values are promoted effectively and with integrity.
Tanner Lineberry
Associate Director of Marketing
Born and raised in Columbia Falls, Mont., Tanner spent his childhood adventuring through the landscapes of Glacier National Park. From an early age he developed a fascination with firearms, however, as Tanner began a family of his own, his interest evolved into a profound commitment to safeguarding his loved ones and advocating for the right to do so. As a young husband and father, Tanner dedicated himself to firearms training and proficiency. This led to a world of opportunity within firearms activism, where he was able to leverage his talent as a photographer/videographer into professional roles within the industry. As momentum built, Tanner realized the importance of young minds advocating for gun rights in America and devoted himself to the cause at all costs. “Always stand on principle, even if you stand alone.” – John Adams
Kostas Moros
Director of Legal Research and Education
Kostas Moros is the Director of Legal Research and Education for the Second Amendment Foundation. He has been a practicing attorney in California since 2015, and is a member of several federal circuit courts, as well as the Supreme Court Bar. Before joining SAF, Kostas worked for six years directly litigating Second Amendment cases in California including lawsuits against “gun free zones” and the state’s ban on non-resident carry. Aside from his litigation experience, Kostas has authored numerous amicus briefs filed in courts around the country, a law review article on why bans on common rifles are historically baseless, and dozens of articles on gun policy. He maintains a very active presence on X under the handle @MorosKostas.
Denyel Brechbill
Director of Membership
Originally joining SAF two years ago in an office management role, she advanced into her current leadership position by building on the Foundation’s 51-year history and strengthening systems and processes to ensure they continue to serve members effectively as SAF prepares for the next generation. Prior to SAF, Denyel brings extensive experience in office management and membership operations within both competitive and recreational trap shooting. She is also a former small business owner and international master educator in the beauty industry, with a strong background in education, systems flow, and community engagement. Her long-standing involvement in hunting and shooting sports, along with a deep respect for civic participation, drives her commitment to helping members understand their rights, responsibilities, and how to stay engaged at both the local and national level.
