SAF WELCOMES VOLQUARTSEN FIREARMS AS NEWEST SILVER CORPORATE PARTNER

August 15, 2023

BELLEVUE, WA –– The Second Amendment Foundation welcomes another Silver-level corporate partner, Volquartsen Firearms of Carroll, Iowa where the company produces precision rimfire rifles, pistols and parts.

“We’re gratified to have Volquartsen Firearms providing important support for our legal and educational activities,” said SAF founder and Executive Vice President Alan M. Gottlieb. “With so many legal challenges looming on the horizon, it’s encouraging when a company headquartered in America’s heartland joins our effort to win back firearms freedom, one lawsuit at a time.”

“You don’t have to look too hard to see attacks on our Second Amendment at the state and federal level,” said company President Scott Volquartsen. “We feel that the Second Amendment Foundation is the right organization to preserve our freedoms and challenge existing legislation to secure our freedoms recently taken away.”

Founded in 1974, Volquartsen Firearms specializes in the production of quality bolt-action and semiautomatic rimfire rifles and semi-auto pistols, plus precision components for a variety of firearms including Remington, Ruger and Smith & Wesson, as well as Volquartsen-produced firearms, which are all made in the USA.

“As we continue our campaign of strategic litigation, challenging onerous gun laws across the country, we are increasingly humbled by the outpouring of support from a growing list of corporate partners,” noted SAF Executive Director Adam Kraut. “I can honestly say we would not be able to accomplish all we’re doing without this critical support.”
